Xanga, along with other fungal sacramental preparations, is a sacred sacrament of The Hive Entheogenic Church. It is a way in which we commune with the Divine, opening a space for prayer, reflection, and connection to our inner guidance. Within ceremony, Xanga and Fungi can invite deep reflection, intuitive awareness, and experiences of expanded consciousness. Each participant’s journey is unique. Some may experience visual or energetic shifts, emotional release, or profound insight, while others may simply sit in stillness, reflection, or quiet contemplation.
At The Hive, Xanga and Fungi are offered in a guided and held ceremonial container with trained ministers and guardians. Participants are encouraged to approach the sacrament with respect, humility, and intention. The ceremony is framed as a spiritual practice, not a therapy, medical treatment, or psychological intervention. Its purpose is to create a sacred space for communion with the Divine, self-inquiry, and reverent awareness. Preparation, participation, and integration are considered essential aspects of this practice.
Membership
Xanga and Fungi ceremonies are open exclusively to members of The Hive Church, to those invited by a member, or to individuals who have completed the steps to become a member. This ensures all participants enter the ceremony with understanding, respect for the sacred container, and alignment with the intentions of the community.
